Inspiration within a City

My ultimate goal as an artist is to inspire people environmentally and politically to become more healthy and aware of their natural surroundings and relationships.

My medical text books fuse symbiotically with my visual art. My work does develop like cells and cities progress. Built slowly over time, adding and subtracting.

I am inspired to create by immunologists, environmentalists, political artists and the health of my own body, others and our ecology. This is why my paintings often become stagnant for months or years, then i decide to re-visit the concept with updated information.

As an artist in Hamilton, Ontario i would like to see more challenging concepts in terms of confronting the politicians, encouraging positive medical research, promoting idea's of environmental benefit for our escarpment, bay, water and air quality. Let's create work to inform the mayor we want to tax Stelco, Dofasco more on their pollution. We are suffering from lung diseases, immune deficiencies because of their toxic smog.

great but still how as an artist with your artistic talents with a paintbrush and paint going to make that happen? I guess I want a deeper answer than your political thoughts which I already know.
